1. Scope

This policy describes how the BuiltPhase mobile application and BuiltPhase website handle information. BuiltPhase is a general fitness and planning tool, not a medical service.

2. Information stored on your device

The app can store profile preferences, workout plans and history, exercise records, meal plans and logs, food entries, optional period and symptom check-ins, achievements, and app settings. Core records are stored locally on your device.

3. Information the developer does not collect

BuiltPhase has no required cloud account, advertising network, social feed, or developer analytics service. The developer does not receive your locally stored workouts, meals, plans, profile details, or cycle check-ins.

4. Optional device features and external requests

If you choose a profile photo, your device's photo picker provides only the image you select. If you export or restore a backup, your device's file and sharing tools handle the location you choose.

If an online food-search feature is available and you use it, the search term may be sent directly to the third-party food-data provider identified in the app. BuiltPhase does not use that request to create a developer-held profile.

5. Backups, retention, and deletion

Exported backup files are created only when you request them and are controlled by you after export. You can remove BuiltPhase data through the app's data controls or by deleting the app, subject to your device's own backup settings.

6. Cycle and health information

Cycle check-ins are optional and are shown only when relevant to the profile settings you choose. BuiltPhase does not provide fertility prediction, contraception, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency guidance. Training and nutrition information is general education and should not replace advice from a qualified professional.

7. Children

BuiltPhase is not designed for children to use without the involvement of a parent or guardian. The app does not knowingly operate an account system or collect personal information from children.

8. Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Questions about privacy can be sent to customerservice@builtphase.com.
